Program provides training and advice for other services in Peel Region that help children and youth who have mental health difficulties and substance use
The Concurrent Disorders group program increases the use of evidence-based, integrated treatment interventions with youth experiencing combined mental health, substance use and/or online/gaming concerns, incorporating a harm reduction approach. The program provides training, case-specific consultations and issue-specific consultations to a wide variety of individuals and service providers who provide services to Peel youth
*Note: The Concurrent Disorders Program also offers the First Contact group as well as parent and youth educational sessions. These services are included under Targeted Prevention
