Description des services:
Volunteer medical clinic that:
- serves people without OHIP such as refugees, new immigrants who are medically uninsured
- specifically address issues often left unattended in the community such as mental health, women's health
- cannot provide or cover all types of care
- while focusing on non-emergency care, patients needing critical attention are directed to local hospitals
- care is free but any donation is accepted
- patients are responsible for their own blood work
- refugees have to bring refugee papers to the appointment along with a list of all pills and any medical records
- call first and leave a voicemail to book an appointment
- clinic is doing telephone consultation only
- do not treat patients with OHIP coverage and medical emergencies and absolutely no walk-ins
