This clinic provides therapies intended to comfort and support individuals and families who are living with, or dying from a progressive life-threatening illness or are bereaved.

Services available are: Pain and symptom management, psychosocial support, education, discharge planning from hospital, ongoing telephone follow up, facilitating community support and providing aid in decision making and advance care planning.

Outpatient Palliative Care services are offered in a clinic-like setting Mon-Fri from 8:30am-4:30pm at the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre in Oshawa.
