Works with patients in hospital who have cognitive impairments and are exhibiting responsive behaviours such as verbal outbursts, agitation, physical resistance, and wandering * meets with patients, their friends and family, and hospital staff to determine the cause of the behaviours and options to make the patient more settled and comfortable * when appropriate, shares information with hospital and other organizations to best understand the patient's responsive behaviours and how to best provide support
