Many free educational and fun events hosted inside the Mosaic Community Resource Centre at 105 Wilson Avenue, and in the community * these events offer community members an opportunity to stay socially engaged in their community, give them a reason to leave their home, allow them to establish and maintain meaningful relationships and a chance to learn something new * educational speakers and fun activities offered at events which in the past have included: tea tastings, chair yoga, musical performances, history lectures, gardening, nutritional talks and falls prevention to name a few * these events are important in keeping older adults socially engaged in their community with educational and informative events.
