Description des services:
Services for individuals who are in a crisis due to mental health problems and/or substance use
Offered through the Emergency department. Patients are triaged in the Emergency Departments, then referred to psychiatrist and/or the crisis workers for assessment and treatment recommendations. Follow up care or support if required, is provided at the hospital's outpatient programs or in the community with one of Osler's community based partners
BCH has an eight space mental health emergency services unit designed for further patient assessment and monitoring
Mobile crisis services for adults provided by: Canadian Mental Health Association - Peel Dufferin Branch, 905-278-9036
Mobile crisis services for youth (under age 18) provided by: EveryMind, 416-410-8615
