• Manages all corporate records and policies and procedures
• Maintains and prepares the agendas, by laws and minutes for all meetings including council, committee of the whole and public sessions
• Facilitates death registrations and certificates
• Issues marriage licenses, marriage certificates and conducts civil marriages
• Issues permits for special events including beer gardens, parades and temporary street closures

• The Returning Officer for all municipal and school board elections and by elections
• The Municipal Freedom of Information coordinator
