Professional referral sources such as physicians and/or mental health workers must complete a referral package
Self and family referrals are also accepted for screening by phone

Admissibilité / population desservie

Individuals between 14-35 years of age who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis
Individuals who have received either no treatment for psychosis or have received treatment for psychosis within the last 12 months only
Individuals who are willing and able to access community based treatment services for psychosis
Individuals who do not have an organic brain disorder or impairment
Eligibility for individuals who fall outside the 14-35 age range will be assessed on a case-by-case basis

Description des services:

?Offers community-based consultation and treatment for individuals who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis

Facilitates early identification of psychosis and optimal treatment interventions

Encourages active family/significant other participation in the treatment process

Provides education, support and advocacy to family members and the community

Implements an interdisciplinary team approach in all aspects of care, including psychiatry, nursing, social work, psychology, and psychosocial rehabilitation
