- Responsible for garbage and recycling collection
- Provides a household hazardous waste collection day at the Public Works yard once per year
- Operates a landfill
- Operates the water treatment plant and offers tours
- Offers Engineering services and Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping services
- Maintains and repairs road ways, ditches, curbs and sidewalks
- Maintains in-ground storm and sanitary sewer systems
- Responsible for street lighting and traffic signals
- Responsible for sanding, salting and plowing roadways and sidewalks
