Offers a range of free services aimed at enhancing employment opportunities, improving literacy and basic skills, and fostering personal development.
Career Planning and Assessment: One-on-one assessments and career counselling to develop realistic employment service plans, considering clients' skills, interests, and experiences.
Job Search Support: Assistance with job search strategies, including resume preparation, and information about careers, local labour markets, and training opportunities.
On-the-Job Training and Work Experience: Opportunities for on-the-job training and work experience to enhance employability.
Literacy and Basic Skills Programs: Training in numeracy, digital, communication, and interpersonal skills to prepare learners for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education, and greater independence.
Employer Services: Support for employers in identifying human resource needs, matching workplace requirements to workers' skills, and developing on-the-job training plans.
Better Jobs Ontario: Skills training and financial support for laid-off workers seeking new employment opportunities.
Positive Voice Program: An award-winning initiative focused on creating positive personal narratives and community connections for Indigenous women.
