Education, support and resource information about Alzheimer's disease and related dementia to clients, families, and professionals * resource library of education materials
Dementia Information Series - Eight week program (offered twice per year) for caregivers * topics include introduction to dementia and Alzheimer disease, understanding changes in behavior, communicating with persons with dementia, community support services, safety in the home and community, planning for the future, long term care homes, care for the caregiver, coping strategies, information on tax programs
Mid-Late Stage of Dementia Discussion Series - Five week discussion series on issues related to the middle to late stages of dementia * topics include managing the changes, safety in the home and continence information, when to apply for long term care, decisions for end of life care
- one-on-one caregiver support
- support group for spouses of people with dementia
- caregiver support groups (in-person or virtual)
- caregiver consultations (this free service is available year round in person, on the phone or via email)
