Eligibility / Target Population
To receive services, the individual must: *Be 16+ years old with diagnosed or apparent mental health symptoms *Be experiencing a crisis that escalates their symptoms of mental illness *justice-involved (in the past 2 years) or have the potential for justice involvement *Be residing or receiving services in Peel Region *NOT be an immediate risk to self or others

Description of Services
crisis support services for people living with mental health concerns who are experiencing a crisis, including individuals who may also be justice-involved. There are two program locations: one in Brampton (currently under renovation) and one in south Mississauga. The Brampton site includes 10 beds (4 direct-referral from Peel Regional Police, 5 justice-involved, and 1 generic). The Mississauga site includes 14 beds (6 direct-referral from Peel Regional Police, 7 justice-involved, and 1 generic)
The program focuses on crisis de-escalation and offers temporary residence and support for up to 14 days

- 24/7 person-centered support
- crisis intervention and specialized short-term case management
- short-term care planning, discharge planning, and connection to community supports
- clinical assessments and interventions
- additional services that promote wellness, stabilization, and community reintegration
