Emotional, social and spiritual support, companionship, respite care for people and their family/caregivers dealing with a life-limiting illness * services provided at home
Hospice Care
Provides trained staff and volunteers to support individuals who are experiencing grief and loss through the death of a loved one * volunteer opportunities and training available
Bereavement support:
Hospice Palliative Helpline: 905-667-1865
Hospice Care
- hospice coordinators meet with clients and caregivers in their home to understand their physical and emotional needs * they listen, support, educate and connect to resources in the community
- trained volunteers can provide much needed respite for caregivers, practical assistance and a listening ear
- in-home wellness services include complementary therapies and music therapy
