Settlement Counselling - Assistance with:
Newcomer Employment Counselling - Help for Deaf and hard of hearing newcomers to find work * services may include:
Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) - Deaf and hard of hearing newcomers learn American Sign Language and written English, and gain life skills to help integrate into Canada
Settlement Counselling - Assistance with:
- accessing health services
- completing applications and forms
- technical devices and accessibility tools
- tasks of daily living
- understanding the legal system
- understanding paperwork and correspondence
- using public transit
Newcomer Employment Counselling - Help for Deaf and hard of hearing newcomers to find work * services may include:
- career exploration
- health and safety training
- interview skills development
- job coaching
- job search strategies
- resume and cover letter writing
