Description of Services
Nursing Station providing basic medical and health care services
- Offers a primary health care Nursing Station including treatment and emergency services
- Provides services of a Physician, Optometrist and Dentist on a monthly basis
- Provides health awareness, education and prevention workshops and seminars
- Houses an X-ray room and a small pharmacy
- Provides access to specialized medical care using videoconferencing and other tele-diagnostic equipment
- Allows specialists to remotely examine and prescribe treatments to patients in their home communities
- Reduces the need to travel to receive care
