Description of Services

Nursing Station providing basic medical and health care services
  • Offers a primary health care Nursing Station including treatment and emergency services
  • Provides services of a Physician, Optometrist and Dentist on a monthly basis
  • Provides health awareness, education and prevention workshops and seminars
  • Houses an X-ray room and a small pharmacy
Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN)
  • Provides access to specialized medical care using videoconferencing and other tele-diagnostic equipment
  • Allows specialists to remotely examine and prescribe treatments to patients in their home communities
  • Reduces the need to travel to receive care
