Inpatient mental health unit with care for people who are experiencing acute and serious mental health problems or distress * 22-bed inpatient unit for patients who need a secure environment
Focus on short-term assessment, stabilization, symptom reduction and active treatment * comprehensive range of one-on-one and group interventions is provided to assist with the patients' coping skills and facilitate discharge * referrals are provided to health and service agencies if needed
