Description of Services
Hospital and community-based mental health services for people with a serious mental illness or addiction
- Aftercare - Case Managment Program Provides life skills training, community support and advocacy to people who have a serious mental illness
- Assertive Community Treatment Team Provides comprehensive integrated services to people with a serious mental illness
- Community Addiction Treatment Services Outpatient addiction assessment treatment, referral and follow-up services
- Community Mental Health and Addiction Services Coordinator (CTO) Provides resource, collaboration, and consultation to service providers, consumers, families, and the legal system regarding information about mental health legislation and community treatment orders
- Crisis Assessment and Support Team Provides help to people and families who are in crisis or emergency situations
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Program (DBT) Offers skill training groups and one-on-one counselling to help people with Borderline Personality Disorder
- Dual Diagnosis Program Assessment, consultation, treatment and support to hospitals, doctors, service providers, patients and families living with a dual diagnosis (diagnosed developmental disability who are experiencing a mental health problem)
- Family Crisis Support Provides support to family members who are seeking treatment of a relative or friend in a psychiatric and/or psychosocial crisis at the emergency department of the Owen Sound Hospital
- North Grey Community Mental Health Team Multi-agency team that provides access to core mental health services: information and referral, mental health counselling, intensive case management, housing and outreach support, social recreational activities and leisure access support services
- Paediatric Multidisciplinary Program Provides medical support for children and youth with a serious mental health illness
- Prevention and Early Intervention Program for Psychosis (PEPP) Assessment, consultation, treatment and support to hospitals, doctors, people and families who are dealing with a first episode of psychosis
- Psychiatric Urgent Clinic Offers a medication, assessment and time limited follow-up clinics
- Sexual Assault and Partner Abuse Care Centre Emotional support, medical care and counselling for victims of recent sexual assault, adult survivors of sexual abuse and survivors of partner abuse
- Withdrawal Management Services (WMS) Non-medical co-ed residential facility with hospital back up
