Description of Services

Access to support at home or in the community * see separate program records
  • Luncheon Club Program: Supported group for people who are socially isolated and/or physically frail
  • Dementia Adult Day Program: Supports those living with dementia and other related cognitive issues
  • Friendly Visiting by volunteers by phone, email or in-person 
  • Telephone reassurance calls by volunteers
  • Service Arrangements and Coordination: help to find in-home services paid for by the client to help them remain living at home safely
  • Transportation to medical appointments and adult day programs by volunteers and staff
  • Seniors Active Living Centre: variety of courses, clubs, lectures, lunches for active and engaged older adults
  • Caregiver support group: peer support with a volunteer
  • Foot Care services by a nurse
  • Massage Therapy by a RMT
  • Acupuncture by a trained professional
