Description of Services

Community Mental Health Counsellors (CMHC) in the Mental Health and Justice stream work with individuals who are:

homeless or at risk of homelessness
have come in conflict with the law (low-to-moderate risk offence)
have mental health and/or addictions challenges

Clients benefit from help with:

specialized support to reduce involvement with Criminal Justice System
emotional regulation
risk assessment
access to community resources
