Description of Services

Offers one-on-one support and education to people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia and their caregivers * available at the VON office during in-home visits, as well as through regular telephone contact

Monthly caregiver support group meetings in Lucan and Strathroy

Education
- Workshops for caregivers * resource library listings includes current books, videos and publications * quarterly newsletter * annual Alzheimer's Awareness event

Volunteer Respite Visiting
- Regular visits to people with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, for respite and companionship by trained volunteers

Social Recreation Programs
- Walk with Me, Tee It Up Golf, and Inter-generational Art Program

Moments and Memories
- Support groups for individuals living with the early stages of dementia
