Description of Services
Provides intensive one-on-one support to black youth and their families to address their needs. Offers a range of services including short-term counselling and support services. Liaises with Youth Outreach Worker to identify youth who may require additional, more intensive services and refer them to appropriate services in the community
Culturally relevant, strength based interventions that serve as a critical resource in bridging gaps in support for Black youth, empowering them to overcome systemic barriers and thrive within their communities
- deliver one-on-one intensive support to Black youth and their families
- address underlying needs through counseling and connection to resources
- enhance youth’s ability to manage challenges and transition through the Stages of Change model
