Description of Services
Designated District Stroke Centre for in-patients under the Ontario Stroke System
- organized stroke prevention and care * rehabilitation * physiotherapy * occupational therapy * speech language * clinical nutrition * nursing * consult physiatrist
- leads and works with stakeholders to achieve integrated and coordinated stroke care throughout Hastings and Prince Edward Counties and across the continuum of care;
- participates in ongoing education and training in stroke care
