Description of Services

Swallowing assessment and follow-up services for adults who have or are suspected of having swallowing difficulties, and are at risk of aspiration pneumonia, dehydration, and malnutrition * services may include a video fluoroscopic swallowing study

Conditions treated:

Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) with or without the following complications:
  • Aspiration
  • Pneumonia
  • Dehydration
  • Malnutrition
