Description of Services
Preoperative assessment to support paediatric patients and their parents prepare for surgery * program is offered to children three years of age and older
Support includes:
Support includes:
- tours of paediatric inpatient services, operationg room, recovery room, and short stay unit
- hands on teaching with stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, weight scales, and dressing up in hospitals hats and masks
- a puppet demonstration of an intravenous, oxygen mas, and anaesthetic facemasks
