Description of Services
Provides support, food and education to seniors facing housing issues
Services include:
Services include:
- conduct a Complete Assessment
- advocating with the Landlord/Landlord Tenant- board to develop a repayment plan
- assistance with Rent Review Application and TCHC lease renewal form
- assistance with Housing connections application plus advocating to TCHC
- referrals or advocacy with ODSP, OW, CPP, shelters, Meals on Wheels, home care, referrals to I.D. Clinic, furniture bank, Old Age Security and Canada Revenue Agency
- help with Budgeting and Finance and arrange for cleaning of unit if required
- provide supportive Counselling and Referrals
