Description of Services

Multiservice community centre * licensed child care in several locations * see separate entries for program details * main administrative office

  • Community Care Unit Supports for children, youth, adults, older adults, and seniors * Integrated approach to physical, mental health, and social determinants of health * Progams focus on improving health and wellbeing and promote independence and dignity * Services include case management, psychotherapeutic counseling, supportive housing, adult day programs, assisted living services, meals on wheels, transportation, respite care, caregiver supports, friendly visiting * System navigation support and referral to other services

  • Free Income Tax Clinic Community volunteer income tax program for low-income individuals and households. Services are available by phone, or in-person at 815 Danforth Ave (3rd Floor) on a year round basis.

  • Walk-in - in-person/phone/video Counselling Service Single session counseling for wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, anger management, difficulties at work or school, relationship issues, parenting concerns and other issues * Variety of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, solution-focused, narrative therapy * No restrictions, individuals can only attend once per week * Can return for subsequent sessions but priority is given to new clients and returning clients may be turned away on busy nights * Individuals as young as 12 years old can use the service, but will need consent from a guardian * Attendance letters are provided for court mandated sessions * Individual sessions, family sessions, and couples sessions available
