Description of Services
Community and government systems navigation, translations, assistance (for housing, referrals to community services) * employment assessments, education * low-incomes supports for individuals & families (income tax every spring) * supporting newcomers into Canadian society, including needs, goals and one-to-one support * connecting deaf hearing parents and their children, education/training * engaging children and youth with sports, social, leadership programming in ASL
Spring-Break/Summer day camps: In ASL for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, their hearing siblings, hearing children and their relatives, year round
Education and resources: ASL language development services for school entry in the Ontario Infant Hearing Program. ASL instruction to families of a Deaf family member
Resource Development Services: Resources in ASL and making material accessible in ASL (website content to stakeholder engagement material, Vlogs, promotional material)
Outreach programs: 258 hub learning management system powered by Silent Voice, hosts e-education, designed by deaf experts for ASL, in ASL, and for Deaf learners. Creating accessible education
