Description of Services
Outpatient clinics for children and adolescents at BCH
Bilirubin (Jaundice) Clinic:
For infants requiring additional assessment and management of care related to higher blood bilirubin levels, including blood testing to assess current blood levels.
Botox Clinic:
For children and adolescents requiring botox treatments for specific medical conditions. The clinic runs in partnership with Erin Oak Kids.
DSMA (Dimercaptosuccinic Acid ) Scan or Renal Scan: For children and adolescents with kidney conditions requiring additional assessment and management of care by a multidisciplinary team, including a specialized scan of the kidneys
Preoperative Preparation Program:
For children and adolescents receiving education related to an upcoming surgical procedure and coping with the hospitalization
Urgent Paediatric Assessment Clinic:
For children and adolescents who need medical follow-up after an emergency department visit, a family physician visit, an inpatient admission
Voiding Cystogram:
For children and adolescents with kidney conditions requiring additional assessment and management of care by a multidisciplinary team, including a special xray of the urinary tract and bladder.
