Description of Services
Responsible for planning, developing and implementing all social, recreational and special events for children and youth of the community
- Provides various activities such as arts and crafts, baking nights, movie nights and outdoor sports events
- Organizes and supervises various outdoor activities for youth during summer months such as baseball, football and soccer
- Coordinates a youth hockey program during the winter months; received donations of several dozen full hockey equipment from Play It Again Sports in Thunder Bay
- Offers boys and men's hockey tournaments and men's/women's broomball tournaments
- Coordinates summertime concerts at the artificial ice arena
- Baseball diamond
- Gymnasium
- Indoor hockey arena
- Community hall, used for feasts, social gatherings, indoor sports activities
- Winter Carnival
