22 adults who are developmentally challenged live in their own apartments with the assistance and support of staff
The Community Support workers assist individuals to:
The Community Support Workers provide:
Mary Centre maintains 8 apartments at Our Lady of Victory in Toronto, 5 at St Mary's in Brampton and 3 at St Peter's in Woodbridge
All referrals for residential programs must be made through DSO (Developmental Services Ontario)
The Community Support workers assist individuals to:
- maintain or develop their activities of daily living
- banking, budgeting, cooking
- apartment maintenance
- other activities of daily living
The Community Support Workers provide:
- support to access resources of employment
- access to day programs
- connection to community based social and recreational activities
