Caregiver, professional or client must make referral through the Toronto ABI Network

Eligibility / Target Population

Adults 18 to 65 years who have an acquired brain injury that has resulted in challenging behaviours * must be medically stable * must be under the care of a physician * must not require hospitalization for medical or psychiatric reasons * must not be facing criminal charges

Description of Services

In-home rehabilitative care for adults with challenging behaviours and an acquired brain injury * behaviour therapists use principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis to help clients, family members, and other caregivers in clients' homes and workplaces, including residential and long-term care homes

Progression level of rehabilitative care for patients working to restore or maximize functionality
