57 acute care general neurology and neurosurgical beds provide care for stroke, stroke prevention, complex epilepsy surgery, brain aneurysm treatment, chemotherapy and malignant brain tumour, and degenerative and neuromuscular disorders (including ALS, MS, and Parkinsons)
Neurosurgical care includes cerebrovascular disease, intra-cranial skull-based tumours, brain tumour surgery, spinal surgery and trauma
