Description of Services

  • Administers social, cultural, economic and recreational programs and services to improve the quality of life for urban Indigenous people living in the Kenora area
  • Provides a meeting place for urban Indigenous people and community members
  • Hosts cultural events
  • Addresses the distinct needs of Indigenous individuals in the areas of justice, health, education, employment and training, and relief of poverty
  • Participates in community development activities that promote cultural diversity and partnership development with other Indigenous and non-Indigenous agencies
