Description of Services
Multidisciplinary team of obstetricians/gynecologists, pediatricians, midwives and health care providers
Unit features:
Breastfeeding support available 24 hours a day, call 519-272-8232 to receive support from the staff on the Maternal Child Unit
Unit features:
- 7 labour and delivery rooms
- 6 postpartum rooms
- 3 triage beds
- Quiet room and waiting room for the comfort, privacy and inclusion of family members
- Wavecare Sensory Delivery Room (first come, first serve)
- whirlpool tubs
- 24/7 anesthesiology coverage
- two support persons allowed
Breastfeeding support available 24 hours a day, call 519-272-8232 to receive support from the staff on the Maternal Child Unit
- Obstetrics Inpatient care for pregnant women or new mothers
