Description of Services

Live-in care for children and youth in need of intensive mental health treatment * goal is reduce severity of mental health challenges and to improve functioning at home, school, and in the community

There are three phases of live-in treatment:
  • Engagement Phase - Family therapy to determine treatment goals, and if admission is necessary
  • Residential Phase - Children live at Vanier while maintaining contact with family * some children attend Vanier's on-site school
  • Transitional Phase - Supports child in moving home full-time
