- Requires written proof of medical appointment and pre-authorization by Health Centre
- Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies
- Advance cancellation recommended
Eligibility / Target Population
Members of Biigtigong Nishnaabeg and any residents living in the community who require assistance with medical transportation due to:
- Illness, injury or age or
- Do not have a vehicle or vehicle is otherwise not available

Description of Services
Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements
- Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community
- Provides transportation and/or assistance from/to Pic River First Nation to medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist, specialist, physiotherapy) in Marathon
- Offers transportation to the local Greyhound bus station for out-of-town appointments
- Services are provided by way of a wheel-chair accessible medical van
