People of any age infected or affected by HIV and their family and friends * must be HIV positive to access doctor services

Description of Services
The Infectious Diseases Care Program offers the following services:
Treatment of complications * coordination of complex care, pharmacist consultations
Clinic also receives referrals for people with other acute and chronic infectious diseases
- Medical consultation, assessment, follow-up and referral
- Medication counselling, including drug / alternative medication interactions
- Blood drawing
- Preventive therapies and interventions
- Clinical trials (medications)
- Support and counselling
- Nutritional assessment, counselling and education
- Health promotion and teaching
- Safer sex and safer needle use teaching
- Community Education
- Interpreter/translation services as required (arranged prior to visits)
- Peer support
