Description of Services

Functions as the governing office for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities
Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following:

Child and Family Services worker on-reserve provided through Dilico Anishinabek Family Care, Thunder Bay, Armstrong office
Hospital services available at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre
Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Armstrong Detachment
Community members conduct most shopping and business affairs in the community of Armstrong and Thunder Bay
Provides an Elder's Complex residence for community seniors
Offers events and activities at the Whitesand Multi-plex Community Centre
Hosts an annual traditional Pow Wow held since 1980
