Individuals with mental health/addictions issues
Individuals accessing the Emergency Department at Lake of the Woods Hospital or the Morningstar Centre and requiring aftercare support

Description of Services

Offers holistic practical services for individuals with mental health/addictions issues accessing the Morningstar Centre or Emergency Department to aid in their healing path

Focuses on improving the overall health of individuals and reducing the number of repeat visits to the emergency department

Services provided include but are not limited to:

Accompaniment to medical appointments
Assisting clients to obtain identification (ID)
Assistance with updating Ontario Hospitalization (OHIP) cards
Completion of housing applications
