Description of Services
Performs a variety of engineering and maintenance operations including:
- Sanitary, storm sewer and water main break repairs, design, construction, rehabilitation and maintenance, including annual hydrant flushing
- Inspections and minor repairs on bridges, roads and sidewalks
- Maintenance of the Rosslyn Water Treatment Centre
- Winter maintenance operations such as snow plowing and snow removal, as well as sanding and salting operations to provide for safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians
- Summer maintenance such as dust control, roadside maintenance, grading and lane maintenance
- Maintenance on road crossing culverts and driveway culverts
- Responsibility for Municipal signs, entrance permits and fire numbers
