Eligibility / Target Population

Individuals 18 years of age and older who are struggling with opiate use

Fees

Program - Individuals without coverage must pay a monthly cash payment ; None - Individuals covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Program (OHIP), a Status Card, or Ontario Disability Pension

Description of Services

Provides treatment for opiate dependence

Offers treatment over 12-24 month period

Provides the following services to program participants:

Focused medical examination
Supervised urinalysis (urine testing)
Weekly group and individual therapy
Regular medical follow-up and supervision
Daily Methadone dosing
Treatment of substance use related illness/diseases such as Hepatitis C and HIV infection
After care program

Also offers onsite, in partnership with the Ontario Native Women's Association:

Healing Circles, integrating traditional Aboriginal healing strategies into treatment
