Public library with health/medicine section of materials available for loan or in-library use * computer and wireless access to the Internet * telephone, email and walk-in reference services offer personal assistance with information requests * electronic resources (computer databases) for newspapers and magazines available in-house and online * inter-library loans allow library to obtain materials from libraries outside of London * for upcoming health-related programs and lectures, visit website

Visiting Library - Delivery service for people unable to come to the library

Accessible Computer Workstations - Adaptive technology computers with software and hardware that can assist people who are blind, deaf, or have low vision  or other physical disabilities * software includes screen readers, voice-activated dictation, scan and reading software, screen magnifiers and a Braille translator * hardware includes alternate input devices like trackballs, large key keyboards, ad keyboards with keyguards for people who have motor control limitations

Communication Boards - Allows people with limited communication abilities to point to alphabet, word or picture boards to communicate to library staff * available at all London library locations

  • Library Settlement Workers - Speak a variety of languages and help newcomers find information and help in London * 7 locations: Beacock, Bostwick, Cherryhill, Jalna, Masonville, Sherwood and Stoney Creek branches

  • Sifton Family Health and Wellness Centre Provides health information in print, A/V and digital formats, eBooks and electronic databases including "Gale Health and Wellness" for health consumers and "Gale Health and Medicine" for more academic inquiries * both are available online with a library card and can be accessed remotely
