Investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect under the Child and Family Services Act * protects children at risk of abuse * provides children brought into the care of the CAS with temporary and long-term care * handles adoptions and adoption disclosure * promotes healthy development of children, families and communities * social workers available for education, training events and presentations on the topic of child abuse, child protection and duty to report
