Description of Services

10 bed emergency shelter for women and children experienced abuse or homelessness * emergency transportation available within the county * all basic needs supplied such as clothing, food, bedding and laundry

  • Emergency Shelter Emergency shelter, support, counselling and advocacy for women and their children who are experiencing physical, sexual, psychological, emotional or financial abuse * support for women experiencing homelessness * 24-hour emergency transportation and crisis telephone services also provided
  •  
  • Family Court Support Provides family law information and tools for women who have experienced partner abuse and are involved in the family court system.
  •  
  • Outreach Counselling Services One-on-one and group counselling, legal advocacy and support for women who have been physically, sexually, financially and/or emotionally abused * sites throughout Huron County * 24-hour crisis support available by phone or walk-in
  •  
  • Sexual Assault Recovery Program Counselling services for women who have been sexually abused as children or sexually assaulted as adults
