Description of Services
Day, evening and night respite for people caring for the elderly or discharged adults who require special care * personal support workers assist with activities of daily living
Service operational every day 24 hours a day, made up of personal support workers, respite service providers, a case manager specializing in mental health and a respite services coordinator * on-call system in place for emergencies
Personal Support Workers (PSWs) work in the three-bed, two-bedroom facility to provide personalized attention and intensive support with all activities of daily living, including:

Personal Support Workers (PSWs) work in the three-bed, two-bedroom facility to provide personalized attention and intensive support with all activities of daily living, including:
- bathing
- dressing
- medication reminders
- nutritious snacks and meals tailored to each client's dietary needs and restrictions
- case management and referrals
- be 55 years of age or older and need care
- need special care but not admission to hospital
- client discharged from hospital and not quite ready to be on their own in their own home
