Description of Services

Safe, secure, supportive, affordable, permanent independent living accommodations for people with mental health and addictions * each service assesses a person for fit and readiness based on individual need
  • individual units
  • shared living with low to moderate support
  • shared living with high supports
  •  
  • Community Homes for Opportunity (CHO) Supportive housing program located in private homes, with admission, programs and supports provided by a community mental health team
  •  
  • Housing Support Drop-In Assistance with applying to subsidized housing in St Thomas and Elgin County * access to resources, including apartment application requirements, current apartment and room rental listings, information on subjects related to obtaining and maintaining housing * linking with appropriate services such as income support
