If an individual meets the eligibility requirements, benefits will be determined automatically

Admissibilité / population desservie

Individuals must:

Be aged 65 years of age or older
Be a resident of Ontario
Receive the federal Old Age Security (OAS) and federal Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) payments
Have lived in Ontario for the past 12 months, or for a total of 20 years since turning 18
Have 10 or more years of Canadian residency
Have a total income from all sources that is below the level guaranteed by the province (the guaranteed income level is updated every three months to reflect inflation)
