Community-based program assists those with mental illnesses or disorders that have an incident or conflict with the criminal justice system

Services and programs available:

court support services in criminal courts located in Barrie, Midland, Collingwood, Orillia and Penetanguishene
court diversion program for those charged with minor criminal offenses
release from custody services for inmates being discharged from Central North Correctional Centre in Penetanguishene
consultation
support and education
referrals to community resources
case management services

Release from Custody - Assists youth 16 years and older who reside in the North Simcoe Muskoka district who may be at risk of involvement/re-involvement in the criminal justice system. Release and discharge planning for community reintegration.
