The General Assessment Service provides psychiatric assessments on a consultative basis for patients presenting with a wide variety of psychiatric and addiction symptoms. Patients are assessed with a view to providing clinical care direction to the referring physician such as diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations or medication considerations. The services does not currently provide follow-up care.
